A LITTLE bit ABOUT ME
Hi there! I’m so glad you’re here. My story starts in a tiny dorm room where I felt completely lost, staring out the window and wondering if there was more for me out there in the big world. I knew I wanted to create a life I truly loved, so I decided to take a risk. I dropped out of college the next semester with zero plans, spent my very last penny on a camera, and never looked back.
The Lord has always placed dreams on my heart, and I trusted He would use them in ways I couldn’t even imagine. My soul has always craved creating, and I’ve felt the bittersweet weight of time passing—those belly-laughing, tear-streaming moments with friends that you wish could last forever. Discovering photography and videography changed everything for me. It’s a way to preserve those moments for eternity, a gift I feel honored to share with others.
A little about me: My husband—my best friend and biggest cheerleader—means the world to me. We got married this past May, and being a bride myself has completely shifted the way I approach weddings. I’ve experienced the joy, excitement, and nerves firsthand, and I want to be there for my brides not just as a photographer but as a friend. Consider me just one voice memo away!
If there is one thing in the "alyssa starter kit" it is iced coffee. I will forever love meeting up for a coffee date (I’ll never say no!). I love working out, scrolling Pinterest, and dreaming up the next corner of my apartment to decorate—interior design has become my latest IN! You will quite literally never catch me leaving the house without my summer fridays lip gloss- my ride or die 4ever.
I don’t take it lightly that I get to be part of one of the biggest days of your life. That’s why it’s so important to me that I’m not just a stranger showing up on your wedding day. Throughout your planning process, I’ll be here to support you, cheer you on, and capture every beautiful, joy-filled moment. Let’s get to documenting your day!!

1 John 4:12 says "No one has ever seen God, but if we love one another, God abides in us, and His love is shown through us." I believe God's hand plays a role in each of our love stories. The term "agape" means God's unconditional and sacrificial love. In the act of marriage and choosing love, we reflect a relationship of agape love!

I can’t say enough AMAZING things about Alyssa! Not only does she pour her heart into her amazing work but she also is incredibly kind and makes a wedding day so fun and easy. Alyssa made us feel so comfortable and confident throughout the whole day. She was able to capture our love snd our wedding day so well in all the videos she made for us. Her work is timeless and BEAUTIFUL. I truly can’t say enough great things about her and her business! I would recommend her to anyone! LOVE her and her work!
I can't recommend Alyssa enough! Alyssa is an actual angel. My Husband and I were so nervous before the photoshoot and thought it wouldn't work out. However, Alyssa was just very normal and professional in her work that we didn't seem to be nervous anymore. We had so much fun in the photoshoot. We were acting so normal in front of the camera! The pictures turned out soooo beautiful. We literally think that this was the best photoshoot we have ever done.
We cannot say enough good things about Alyssa & Agape Films! She was a dream to work with and was so flexible on customizing our package for exactly what we wanted! She was personable and kind, communicating through the whole process. She even helped us find a fill in photographer when ours cancelled the week of the wedding! She is so natural behind the camera in all that entails and truly delivers dreamy films that fit exactly who you are! She is straight forward and honest and again cannot give a better review!
